Abstracts Submissions NOW OPEN FOR 2020!

 

DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS IS MARCH 8, 2020

 

Abstract Submissions is now online. To submit an abstract, just fill in the form fields and click "send". After submission, you will receive an email verifying we have received your abstract for review. 

 

This Conference is attended by Surgical, Medical and Radiation Oncologists; Respirologists; Radiologists; Radiation Therapists; Pathologists; Nurses; Therapists and Other Health Professionals from across Ontario. The presentations are clinically orientated and chosen for their broad appeal, and relevance to everyday clinical practice. The speakers include provincial and invited experts. This is an excellent chance to showcase your work and network with specialists from across the province.

 

The organizing committee welcomes abstracts on any aspect of Thoracic Oncology. All are welcome to submit their work. Abstracts will be assessed for scientific validity and clinical relevance. MD’s and other health professionals are welcome to submit their abstracts however only submissions from trainees from all disciplines will be judged. 

 

Submissions will undergo blinded peer-review and all selected abstracts will be displayed as posters  the top 2 authors will have the opportunity to give a brief oral presentation to the audience and will have their registration fee paid. The top 2 presenters will have hotel cost paid. 

 

The abstract limit is 250 words (not including title, authors and affiliations) and submissions should be formatted using the following 4 headings: 

  • Background and Objectives 

  • Methods 

  • Results; Discussion 

  • Conclusions 

Please indicate if you are a Resident/Trainee.

Do not include your Institution’s name in the title. Please do not use tables, figures or references in the abstract.
